My name is Judi Clark. I look at the future though the lens of the present. Sometimes my friends help.
In the past, we’ve looked at (and written about) matters of security and identity, political and economic pressures associated with control of networks (telecom, cable, wireless, etc.) and content (junk faxes, DRM, open source, etc.), intersections of various interests (including scenarios and scenario planning), and more. A few of my papers are here. Some papers are unfortunately behind firewalls. Others are mixed up in here, including one by my late friend Keith.
Going forward, I’ll be looking at tools that empower us to explore, understand and control our world. I’ll be looking at some of the people, technologies and standards that are evolving.
